Will the Suns win a playoff series? Mat Ishbia thinks so

Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia expressed confidence that his team will escape the first round of the upcoming NBA playoffs. Following three years of postseason disappointment, the writer for Bright Side Of The Sun evaluated Ishbia's assertion by projecting how the Suns would perform in hypothetical playoff series against the Western Conference's top contenders.

The writer argues that Phoenix's postseason fate heavily depends on matchups, projecting first-round victories against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Denver Nuggets. Conversely, the writer expects Phoenix to struggle and lose potential playoff matchups against the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Rockets.
