Portland Trail Blazers head coach Micah Nori confirmed that guard Ja Morant exited midway through the fourth quarter of a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies after feeling a twinge in his left hamstring. Morant grabbed the back of his leg, went to the bench, and was officially ruled out pending further medical evaluation.
Morant recorded 14 points, two rebounds, and three assists in 23 minutes before the setback. Nori stated that while there is concern, he hopes the issue is not major, noting that the team expects more clarity following comprehensive evaluations.
