Discussion: Blazers Host London Lions in Monday Matinee

The Portland Trail Blazers host the London Lions of the UK's Super League Basketball in an early preseason matinee at the Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 1 p.m. PDT as Rip City hosts the international opponent. Head coach Micah Nori confirmed that Ja Morant and Jrue Holiday are set to start together in Portland's backcourt for the matchup.

Several players will miss Monday's contest, as Damian Lillard and Robert Williams III sit out for rest, while Shaedon Sharpe remains sidelined with a right meniscus injury and Chris Youngblood misses out due to left calf soreness. Nori stated that Lillard and Scoot Henderson are expected to start at guard in Tuesday's subsequent game against the Sacramento Kings.
