Portland Trail Blazers Star Ja Morant Makes Honest Memphis Grizzlies Statement

Portland Trail Blazers guard Ja Morant addressed his past with the Memphis Grizzlies ahead of their upcoming matchup at the Moda Center. Speaking to The Oregonian, Morant stated that he holds no grudges against his former team while taking accountability for past mistakes that contributed to his eventual departure. He emphasized that the reunion is just another game as Portland looks to preserve its 3-0 start.

Morant spent seven seasons in Memphis, guiding the franchise to four playoff appearances before injuries, off-court issues, and suspensions disrupted his final years there. Now thriving alongside Portland teammates Damian Lillard and Deni Avdija, Morant is averaging 16.3 points and 6.3 assists per game for his new club.
