Out due to the same ankle that has been causing him issues, Keegan Murray may find his place on the Sacramento Kings declining.

Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray is sidelined for at least two weeks due to left ankle capsulitis, causing joint inflammation and stiffness. Murray will be re-evaluated after that period, but writer Ian Goodwillie suggests the ongoing injury issues could jeopardize his role in the team's future.
Murray signed a five-year extension worth roughly $28 million per year ahead of the 2025-2026 campaign, but played only 23 games that season after suffering left thumb and ankle injuries. Goodwillie argues that if Murray cannot stay healthy, the Kings should consider exploring trade options.
