The Sacramento Kings have traded guard Nique Clifford to the Oklahoma City Thunder. According to reports cited from ESPN and The Athletic, Sacramento will receive two future second-round draft picks in return, consisting of a 2028 Utah pick and a 2030 Minnesota selection.
Clifford was originally drafted 24th overall by the Kings in the 2025 NBA Draft and played in 75 games as a rookie. However, he fell out of head coach Doug Christie's rotation this season, seeing his playing time drop to just 6.3 minutes per contest before the trade.
