Nique Clifford is starting to show exactly what the Kings want from him

Ian Goodwillie of A Royal Pain argues that Sacramento Kings wing Nique Clifford demonstrated his development with an impressive preseason performance against the Los Angeles Lakers. Clifford led the Kings in scoring with 23 points while shooting 61.5% from the field and 50% from three-point range.

The writer notes that Clifford had a slower acclimation period as a rookie compared to Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell. Alongside his scoring against the Lakers, Clifford contributed nine rebounds, two assists, and finished as the only Sacramento player with a positive plus-minus rating.
