With Ben Simmons' season-ending injury, the Sacramento Kings now have to make some changes to their starting five.

An injury to Ben Simmons has forced the Sacramento Kings to reconsider their starting lineup ahead of the season opener. While Simmons started at power forward in the preseason finale alongside Keegan Murray, Domantas Sabonis, Darius Acuff Jr., and Zach LaVine, his absence opens up a vacant spot in the frontcourt.
Writer Ian Goodwillie suggests Sacramento could return Murray to power forward and De'Andre Hunter to small forward. Alternatively, Goodwillie argues the Kings should consider starting Precious Achiuwa and Nique Clifford to inject energy and accelerate player development.
