There were very few players who could make their opponents feel genuinely helpless. Kevin Garnett, at his peak, was one such devastatingly impactful superstar. Now, a former NBA superstar has made a bold case for where Garnett’s best season belongs…

NBA legend Tracy McGrady praised Kevin Garnett on his Cousins podcast with Vince Carter, calling him the baddest man on the planet during his 2003-04 MVP campaign. McGrady argued that Garnett's unique skill set and overall court impact put him alongside or above all-time great power forwards Tim Duncan and Charles Barkley.
McGrady and Carter highlighted Garnett's versatile perimeter skills, ball-handling, and defensive dominance during that season, where he guided the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 58-24 record and the Western Conference Finals. McGrady noted that Garnett performed feats on the court that neither Duncan nor Barkley could match.
