The San Antonio Spurs are still awaiting the debut of Tobias Harris, and depending on how he fits, it could result in Devin Vassell coming off the bench.

Cal Durrett of Air Alamo argues that Devin Vassell could be moved to the bench once Tobias Harris makes his debut for the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs currently face a potential forward logjam with Harris, Julian Champagnie, Keldon Johnson, and Carter Bryant on the roster. Durrett suggests head coach Mitch Johnson might reevaluate the starting five to create better rotation balance.
Durrett notes that Vassell is averaging 10.6 points with solid defense, making any benching difficult despite a slow start from three-point range. While inserting Harris or Champagnie into the starting lineup would add size and guard depth to the reserves, Durrett acknowledges that altering the dominant starting unit carries risks and suggests reducing Johnson's minutes instead.
