If you think Victor Wembanyama’s career-high performance was beyond criticism, then you’re wrong. Hours after legendary big men hailed the masterclass, the Spurs star has still found himself facing questions about whether he truly wants to dominate opponents. The debate…

Former NBA guard Nick Young expressed skepticism about Victor Wembanyama despite the San Antonio Spurs center's career-high 52-point performance against the Dallas Mavericks. Speaking on Gil's Arena, Young argued that playing physically inside is not in Wembanyama's DNA, claiming the big man prefers shooting on the perimeter rather than dominating inside.
Wembanyama recorded a historic stat line of 52 points, 24 rebounds, and eight blocks while playing through illness in San Antonio's 112-111 victory. While Young remained unimpressed, former NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal praised the French center's determined response and likened his competitive mindset to Kobe Bryant.
