Jeremy Sochan, Malaki Branham, and Blake Wesley were all waived over the weekend, ending another chapter on a 2022 Spurs draft class that never panned out.

Former San Antonio Spurs 2022 first-round draft picks Jeremy Sochan, Blake Wesley, and Malaki Branham were all waived by their respective NBA teams over the weekend. The Portland Trail Blazers released Sochan, the Orlando Magic waived Branham, and the Los Angeles Clippers cut Wesley as rosters were trimmed ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Writer Jahlil Williams notes that while Branham and Wesley were on Exhibit 10 deals with potential G League affiliate paths, Sochan was on a non-guaranteed camp deal and enters unrestricted free agency if unclaimed.
