After Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch called out Rudy Gobert for his finesse plays during a combined 0-for-13 stretch, the starting center questioned his finishes as well. Amid a two-game skid, the Timberwolves lost Anthony Edwards to a knee injury…

Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert has responded to head coach Chris Finch's criticism regarding his finesse shots in the paint, agreeing that he needs to dunk more often. Following a 119-114 loss to the Golden State Warriors where Gobert scored just one point, the center acknowledged that he must be more decisive, strong, and poised around the rim.
Finch noted that Gobert has relied too much on finesse flips rather than fully extending to dunk through contact. The Timberwolves face increased offensive pressure following an injury to Anthony Edwards that will sideline the All-Star forward for at least two months.
