While trade speculation previously linked Poeltl to teams such as the Memphis Grizzlies, he is positioned to retain the starting center role. He faces internal competition from Collin Murray-Boyles, who delivered a breakout rookie campaign, alongside key roster teammates including Scottie Barnes, Kawhi Leonard, RJ Barrett, and Immanuel Quickley.
