With Brandon Ingram injured and other key veterans sidelined, ex-Raptor Gradey Dick could get a bigger opportunity to revive his NBA career with the Clippers.

Writer Amos Caesar Mina argues that multiple perimeter injuries to the Los Angeles Clippers could create a critical opportunity for young wing Gradey Dick to earn substantial minutes. The Clippers are currently facing significant absences following the offseason trade with the Toronto Raptors that sent Kawhi Leonard north, leaving key acquisitions sidelined ahead of the 2026–27 campaign.
Newly acquired Brandon Ingram faces an indefinite absence with a partially torn Achilles, while Max Strus is out at least four weeks with a plantar fascia tear and Bradley Beal deals with knee inflammation. Mina contends that these depth chart setbacks leave the 22-year-old Dick in prime position to prove his worth in the league.
