Free agent center Jamarion Sharp is signing with the Raptors and will compete for a two-way contract, reports Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca (via Twitter).
Free agent center Jamarion Sharp is signing with the Toronto Raptors on an Exhibit 10 deal to compete for a two-way contract, according to Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca. Because Toronto's preseason roster sits at the maximum 21-player limit, the team will need to waive another player to officially add the 7-foot-5 big man.
Sharp previously played for Toronto's Summer League squad before signing a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, who waived him in late September. To secure a permanent two-way spot in Toronto, Sharp would need to beat out current two-way holders Chucky Hepburn, Trey Jemison, or Malachi Smith.
