Kevin O'Connor pointing to Kel'el Ware potentially being available this season could open the door for Toronto to add a needed skill set to their big rotation.

Writer Chris Lambert argues that the Toronto Raptors should target Milwaukee Bucks center Kel'el Ware via trade to diversify their frontcourt. Following Toronto's preseason opener against the Miami Heat, Lambert noted that the team appeared undermanned at the center position with only Jakob Poeltl and Collin Murray-Boyles, suggesting Ware could solve spacing concerns.
According to a report by Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor, Ware could potentially be made available by the rebuilding Bucks. Lambert notes that Ware averaged 11.1 points and 9.0 rebounds while shooting 39.5 percent from deep in 2025-26, though he questions whether Toronto possesses the necessary trade assets.
