The Raptors beat the Bucks of the Orlando Magic Wednesday night. In my postgame takeaways, I'm bringing you a redemption arc, a hero, and an awful tandem.

The Toronto Raptors defeated the Orlando Magic 129-99 in the first matchup of a two-game homestand. Following news that Kawhi Leonard would be sidelined, Scottie Barnes led the team's effort by recording 28 points, six rebounds, four assists, and five combined steals and blocks on 11-of-17 shooting. RJ Barrett also played a pivotal role, scoring 21 of his 24 points during the first half.
Writer Chris Lambert highlighted Barnes' bounce-back performance and Barrett's early spark, but criticized Toronto's frontcourt play as a disaster. Centers Jakob Poeltl and Collin Murray-Boyles struggled with early foul trouble, combining for 10 fouls in just 24 total minutes, forcing head coach Darko Rajakovic to turn to third-string center Trayce Jackson-Davis.
