Will Kawhi Leonard Make Raptors Debut Tonight? New Details Before Heat Game

The Toronto Raptors have ruled Kawhi Leonard out for Saturday's preseason opener against the Miami Heat at Videotron Centre, according to reporter Josh Lewenberg. Leonard returned to Toronto following a trade from the Los Angeles Clippers that was delayed for nearly three months during an NBA investigation into salary cap circumvention.

Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic indicated the team is taking a cautious approach with the 35-year-old superstar during training camp. Leonard has not yet participated in full-contact drills, and Toronto will next play against the Clippers in Vancouver on October 10.
