Isaiah Collier doesn't have to be Derrick White for the Utah Jazz, but it'd be a welcome development if he's able to bring some of White's qualities to the table. Especially knowing what the Jazz need.

Matt John of The J-Notes argues that Utah Jazz guard Isaiah Collier could significantly boost his team by emulating Boston Celtics standout Derrick White. After Collier revealed to reporters that he frequently studies game film of White, John highlights how adopting White's two-way impact and elite defense could solidify Collier's role in Utah's playoff aspirations.
The writer notes that while Collier and White possess different playstyles, Collier's speed, playmaking, and stocky build provide the tools to become an impactful defender. John contends that even if Collier's outside shot remains inconsistent, developing into a dependable defensive presence would make the Jazz much tougher to beat.
