The Story in 60 Seconds

The Utah Jazz are exercising their third-year team option on forward Ace Bailey while declining their fourth-year option on point guard Isaiah Collier, according to a report from Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Bailey will earn slightly under $10 million in the 2027/28 season, whereas Collier will now head into unrestricted free agency following the current campaign.

Bailey, the fifth overall pick in 2025, averaged 13.8 points and 4.2 rebounds across 72 games as a rookie. Collier, selected 29th overall in 2024, has struggled with outside shooting despite averaging 7.2 assists last season, and his declining option limits what his finishing team can offer him next summer.
