The Washington Wizards will open their 2026 NBA regular season at home against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, October 21. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., and will be broadcast on Monumental Sports Network.
Washington's primary concern heading into the matchup is the availability of No. 1 overall draft pick AJ Dybantsa, who is listed as day-to-day with an ankle injury suffered in the preseason finale. Additionally, Tristan Vukcevic is ruled out with a hip issue, while Jamir Watkins is out for the season due to an ACL injury. The Bucks have no players listed on their injury report.
