Trae Young and Anthony Davis staying healthy could unlock the Wizards’ potential and give Washington a strong chance to cruise past its win total.

Ethan Kinney of Wiz of Awes argues that the Washington Wizards can exceed their projected win total of 34.5 if Anthony Davis and Trae Young stay healthy. Kinney believes that despite strong competition in the Eastern Conference, Washington's high-variance roster possesses sufficient talent to surpass expectations and potentially contend for a playoff spot if their key players avoid injuries.
Davis played only 20 games last season, while Young was limited to 15 appearances, including five with the Wizards. Kinney contends that if Davis and Young remain on the court alongside young contributors such as Alex Sarr, AJ Dybantsa, and Bilal Coulibaly, Washington should easily surpass the 34.5-win mark.
