Philadelphia 76ers forward Jaylen Brown has taken an unconventional approach to his offseason training by practicing fencing in Italy. The 29-year-old was seen wearing full fencing gear and training with Canadian foil fencer DeGroot near Milan. This unique preparation comes ahead of Brown's first season with the 76ers following his acquisition in a major offseason trade.
In addition to fencing, Brown's offseason activities have included skydiving over the Pyramids of Giza and participating in an amateur boxing exhibition in Lagos, Nigeria. He has also maintained his basketball training by working with shooting coach Lethal Shooter and new 76ers assistant coach Phil Handy to prepare for his role alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
