New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. Several of his Knicks teammates made appearances during the opening monologue, including Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart.

Brunson also starred in multiple comedy sketches throughout the broadcast, including a High School Musical parody alongside cast member Jeremy Culhane and an office sketch centered on shooting trash into a wastebasket. The episode featured musical guest KATSEYE and is available for streaming on Peacock.
