Victor Wembanyama launched a career-high 34 shots for a season-high 43 points to propel the Spurs to a 121-111 win over the Timberwolves.

Victor Wembanyama scored a season-high 43 points on a career-high 34 shot attempts to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 121-111 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. The 22-year-old French star added five blocks, becoming the first Spurs player since David Robinson in 1996 to record at least 40 points and five blocks in a single game.
San Antonio secured its fourth consecutive win behind a combined 90 points from Wembanyama, Dylan Harper, and De'Aaron Fox, with Harper posting a career-high 25 points. Head coach Mitch Johnson praised Wembanyama's team play as the Spurs capitalized on a depleted Timberwolves lineup that played without Anthony Edwards.
