PFF's Zach Tantillo evaluated the top 10 quarterbacks on the PFF Big Board for the 2027 NFL Draft following Week 5 of the college football season. Texas quarterback Arch Manning ranks highest at second overall on the board, followed by Oregon's Dante Moore at third. Notre Dame's CJ Carr ranks 21st, while Oklahoma State's Drew Mestemaker sits at 23rd overall.
Several quarterbacks have posted elite metrics, with Miami's Darian Mensah leading qualifying Power Four quarterbacks with a 92.6 PFF passing grade. Ohio State's Julian Sayin ranks second with a 92.5 passing grade and leads the nation from a clean pocket. The rankings also feature Ole Miss's Trinidad Chambliss, USC's Jayden Maiava, South Carolina's LaNorris Sellers, and LSU's Sam Leavitt.
