Aaron Donald Expects To Play In Rams’ In Home Opener vs. Giants On Monday

Defensive lineman Aaron Donald stated he expects to make his return for the Los Angeles Rams in their home opener against the New York Giants on Monday night. After sitting out of football for two seasons, the 35-year-old rejoined the Rams last month but missed the season-opening 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, to continue his physical conditioning.

Donald's return will help bolster the Rams' defensive front while defensive end Myles Garrett remains sidelined for at least four games following knee surgery. Donald, who has recorded 111 career sacks, is anticipated to play on a reduced snap count compared to previous seasons.
