The Arizona Cardinals have officially re-signed veteran wide receiver Zay Jones to their practice squad after evaluating four wideouts in a workout. Instead of immediately adding Jones to the 53-man active roster, the Cardinals promoted offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun. The moves come as Arizona deals with multiple receiver issues, including a season-ending wrist injury to Jalen Brooks and limited practice time for Michael Wilson.
Eguakun was elevated to serve as the team's backup center behind Hjalte Froholdt following an ankle injury to starting right guard Jon Gaines. Meanwhile, Jones returns to Arizona after previously suffering a torn Achilles in 2025 and being released by the Houston Texans during training camp in 2026.
