Sitting with a 2025 Giants-like setup in which two veteran quarterbacks are on the roster accompanying a rookie-deal player, the Cardinals have long made sense as a team that could trade a passer before the deadline.
The Arizona Cardinals reportedly want to trade a quarterback ahead of the NFL trade deadline, according to Jason La Canfora. With veterans Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew currently leading the depth chart, Arizona is reportedly planning to evaluate third-round rookie Carson Beck later this season.
Both Brissett and Minshew are playing on one-year contracts, making them viable trade targets for quarterback-needy teams dealing with injuries. Minshew is on a $5.75 million contract, while Brissett's deal is worth $15.5 million with a $9.7 million base salary.
