The Arizona Cardinals should've paired Marvin Harrison Jr. with a different quarterback before trading him to the Houston Texans.

Reese Kunz of Raising Zona argues that the Arizona Cardinals made a major mistake by trading wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. before dealing quarterback Jacoby Brissett. The Cardinals traded Harrison and a 2027 sixth-round pick to the Houston Texans for a 2027 second-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick, followed by trading Brissett to the Baltimore Ravens.
Kunz contends that Arizona should have tested Harrison's chemistry with new starting quarterback Gardner Minshew II or rookie Carson Beck before abandoning their former top-five draft investment. The writer criticizes general manager Monti Ossenfort for prioritizing a veteran stopgap quarterback over a young receiver who could flourish in Houston alongside former college teammate C.J. Stroud.
