The Arizona Cardinals have placed starting right guard Isaiah Adams on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. While the team reportedly does not expect Adams to be sidelined for the remainder of the year, third-year guard Jon Gaines II is set to start in his absence.
Adams previously started 16 games across his first two NFL seasons after being drafted in the third round in 2024. His move to injured reserve follows the Cardinals losing left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. to a season-ending injury earlier in the week.
