The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed wide receiver Zay Jones following a Tuesday tryout that included James Proche, Ronnie Bell, and Xavier Guillory. Jones was the only player from the workout group to earn a contract with the organization, marking his third consecutive season with the franchise.
Jones last played in the regular season last November before suffering a torn Achilles against the Seattle Seahawks. His return comes as the Cardinals placed wide receiver Jalen Brooks on injured reserve due to season-ending wrist surgery.
