The Dallas Cowboys could reportedly have interest in acquiring Arizona Cardinals defensive end Josh Sweat ahead of the NFL trade deadline, according to Jeremy Fowler. Arizona previously rejected trade interest during the offseason despite speculation regarding Sweat's future with the team.
Sweat, who signed a four-year, $76 million contract with Arizona in 2025, previously indicated after Week 1 that he wanted to remain with the Cardinals under head coach Jonathan Gannon. Through six games in the 2026 season, Sweat has recorded nine tackles and two sacks.
