Ravens Finalizing Trade For Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett

The Baltimore Ravens are finalizing a trade to acquire quarterback Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals ahead of the trade deadline. Facing severe depth issues after Lamar Jackson went on injured reserve and Tyler Huntley suffered a season-ending turf toe injury, Baltimore acted quickly to add the veteran passer. The deal is expected to be completed over the weekend.

Brissett was recently demoted to third string in Arizona behind Gardner Minshew and Carson Beck. The trade reunites Brissett with Ravens quarterbacks coach Israel Woolfork, who previously worked with the 33-year-old in Cleveland and Arizona. Baltimore will owe roughly $5 million in prorated base salary from Brissett's contract.
