Falcons are sitting on one of the NFL’s biggest draft steals in Kendal Daniels

Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels has emerged as an impactful starter after being selected with the 134th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Sports Illustrated's Justin Melo highlighted the former Oklahoma player as one of the draft's top Day 3 steals. Daniels has recorded 29 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and one sack across six games.

Blogging Dirty notes that Daniels provides an encouraging bright spot for Atlanta during a 2-4 start under head coach Kevin Stefanski and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich. After being stretchered off with a neck injury against the Chicago Bears, Daniels avoided concussion protocol and returned to full practice participation ahead of Week 7.
