Brockermeyer originally signed with Atlanta as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft and was added to the practice squad after final roster cuts. His release comes as the Falcons start the regular season with a 0-2 record.
To fill roster spots, the Falcons added guard Colby Sorsdal and defensive end Zach Harrison. Brockermeyer, who previously played for Alabama, TCU, and Miami, never appeared in a regular-season game for Atlanta. The team currently carries centers Ryan Neuzil and Corey Levin on their active roster.
