The Falcons will want this one back.

The Atlanta Falcons faced intense criticism online after unveiling a new logo on Wednesday featuring a black falcon set against red, white, black, and gold stripes. Social media users and NFL fans quickly drew comparisons between the design and imagery linked to Nazi Germany's World War II eagle symbol. Following the widespread backlash, the franchise replaced the graphic on its X profile by late Thursday afternoon with an image of a red helmet.
Alongside the branding controversy, some fans expressed frustration over the team's on-field performance amid a 2-4 start to the season. The Falcons also recently adjusted their roster by signing veteran quarterback Andy Dalton and releasing Cooper Rush ahead of their upcoming matchup against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers.
