The Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and New Orleans Saints are implementing notable roster and coaching adjustments across their teams. Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich plans to manage defensive end James Pearce Jr. on a pitch count primarily in pass-rushing situations following his return. Meanwhile, Panthers interim defensive coordinator Todd Wash aims to shift to an aggressive attack-front style, while linebackers coach Mayur Chaudhari has departed the organization.
In New Orleans, the Saints dismissed run game coordinator T.J. Paganetti ahead of Week 9, handing rushing attack duties to offensive line coach Brendan Nugent. Saints head coach Kellen Moore explained the change was made to optimize workflow, while guard David Edwards noted the offensive line felt responsible for Paganetti's exit. Additionally, the Saints recently reclaimed running back Audric Estime off waivers from the Cleveland Browns.
