Several NFL teams made practice squad roster transactions on October 20, 2026. Notable moves across the league include the Indianapolis Colts signing wide receiver Mecole Hardman and punter Thomas Morstead, the Dallas Cowboys adding quarterback Kyle Trask, and the Philadelphia Eagles signing running back Elijah Mitchell.
The Colts' addition of Morstead follows a foot injury sustained by regular punter Rigoberto Sanchez during a blocked punt against the Tennessee Titans. With Sanchez uncertain for Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings, the 17-year veteran Morstead provides experienced depth.
