The Story in 60 Seconds

The Miami Dolphins have successfully claimed guard Christian Haynes off waivers, superseding a previously reported claim by the Baltimore Ravens. Because the 1-5 Dolphins hold a higher waiver priority than the 4-3 Ravens, Haynes is heading to Miami. To create a roster spot for the offensive lineman, the Dolphins are waiving rookie guard DJ Campbell.

Haynes, a former third-round draft pick by the Seattle Seahawks out of UConn, became expendable in Seattle after starting five games this season. Signed through 2027, the 26-year-old marks Miami's 10th waiver acquisition since August 31, providing interior offensive line depth alongside rookies Kadyn Proctor and Jonah Savaiinaea.
