Ravens discussion: instant reactions to the Jacoby Brissett trade

The Baltimore Ravens are acquiring quarterback Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals following potentially season-ending injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. Baltimore Beatdown writers shared mixed reactions to the move, with some viewing Brissett as an experienced bridge passer capable of keeping the offense functional, while others argued against surrendering future draft picks for a roster plagued by inconsistencies.

While writer Nikhil Mehta and other contributors noted that Brissett offers vital stability over an inexperienced backup, writer Zach Canter argued that Baltimore should focus on rebuilding and trade away veterans instead. Brissett's debut for the Ravens is slated to come in a primetime matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, though trade compensation terms were not immediately disclosed.
