Baltimore Ravens coach Jesse Minter was noncommittal when asked if starting quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) would return to practice on Wednesday in preparation for the team's AFC North matchup in Cleveland on Sunday.
Baltimore Ravens coach Jesse Minter remained noncommittal Monday on whether quarterback Lamar Jackson will return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Jackson suffered an ankle injury against the Tennessee Titans on October 4 and missed the Ravens' recent 30-23 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley started in Jackson's place, throwing two touchdowns and rushing for the game-winning score in overtime.
Minter expressed optimism regarding newly acquired center Cam Jurgens, who is finishing concussion protocol following a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles. Additionally, defensive end Trey Hendrickson and wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane could potentially return for Baltimore's first AFC North matchup of the season.
