The Ravens have solved their quarterback situation -- for now.

The Baltimore Ravens are finalizing a trade with the Arizona Cardinals to acquire quarterback Jacoby Brissett. The move comes as Baltimore faces a severe quarterback crisis, with starter Lamar Jackson placed on injured reserve due to a thumb injury and backup Tyler Huntley expected to miss the rest of the season with turf toe. Third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano will start for the 4-4 Ravens in their upcoming Thursday matchup against the Jaguars.
Brissett, 33, was recently demoted to emergency third-string quarterback in Arizona after Gardner Minshew took over during a 33-30 win against the Cowboys. The veteran quarterback has completed 193 of 305 passes for 1,719 yards, 10 touchdowns, and seven interceptions across eight starts this season. Baltimore will mark the eighth NFL franchise of his 11-year professional career.
