Ravens Hall of Famer Ed Reed criticized head coach Jesse Minter and his staff for "terrible coaching decisions" following a collapse against the Cincinnati Bengals. Baltimore squandered a 13-0 halftime lead as the Bengals scored touchdowns on five of their six second-half possessions. Scrutiny mounted after the Ravens bypassed a go-ahead fourth-quarter field goal down 14-13, failing on a fourth-and-two pass from Tyler Huntley to Josh Cuevas.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow dominated the second half, completing 16 of 18 passes for 249 yards and four touchdowns against a Baltimore defense that logged zero sacks or turnovers after halftime. Derrick Henry was limited to 45 rushing yards on 17 carries, while Zay Flowers caught eight passes for 137 yards and a touchdown. Minter acknowledged the need for better second-half adjustments moving forward.
