Cincinnati Bengals players credited a fiery halftime speech by wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase for sparking their Week 7 comeback against the Baltimore Ravens. Trailing 13-0 at halftime, Cincinnati responded by scoring 35 unanswered points to secure a dominant victory. Quarterback Joe Burrow and offensive tackle Amarius Mims both noted that Chase's passionate message motivated the offense to step up in the second half.
Chase backed up his words on the field, finishing the game with five receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown. Fellow receiver Tee Higgins also starred in the second half, recording six catches for 148 yards and a touchdown. The win improved the Bengals' record to 4-2 ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
