It's now up to the 3-1 Browns to keep this up and not make their early-season success just an afterthought late in the fall and into the winter.
The Cleveland Browns defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24 to move to the top of the AFC North standings. Cleveland's defense brought steady pressure against Pittsburgh quarterback Aaron Rodgers, sacking him five times and forcing two interceptions by Denzel Ward and Grant Delpit. Browns kicker Andre Szmyt secured the victory by converting a 56-yard game-winning field goal.
Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson completed 24 of 33 passes for 268 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while adding 22 rushing yards. Denzel Boston led Cleveland with 89 receiving yards, and Carson Schwesinger led the defensive unit in tackles. The result moved Cleveland to a 3-1 record under Todd Monken, while Mike McCarthy's Steelers fell to 2-2.
