The Story in 60 Seconds

BuffaLowDown argues that signing edge rusher Von Miller remains one of the most disappointing free agency moves in Buffalo Bills history. General manager Brandon Beane signed Miller to a six-year, $120 million contract in 2022 to serve as a pass-rushing closer for a contending roster. However, writer Justin Fried recently identified Miller as the franchise's worst free agency signing following his underwhelming, injury-plagued tenure.

Miller initially produced eight sacks in his first 11 games before suffering a torn ACL on Thanksgiving in 2022. Following the injury, he recorded zero sacks in 2023 and six in 2024 before the Bills released him in March 2025 with just 14 total sacks across 36 games.
