Behind the Shades: My story and unexpected journey into a Bills Mafia docuseries

Writer Sara Larson shares her experience being featured in "Just One Before I Die," a five-part docuseries about Buffalo Bills fans that premiered on Tubi on October 21. Larson was approached by filmmakers after superfan Kenny "Pinto Ron" Johnson highlighted her ongoing consecutive-game attendance streak. The film crew followed her across multiple stadiums and milestone matchups, capturing her journey as a dedicated supporter.

Larson notes that her active streak has reached 108 consecutive games despite the financial challenges of regular travel. She reflects on the emotional significance of the series title following the deaths of her father and her brother, Joe, emphasizing how deeply the Bills' pursuit of a Super Bowl resonates across generations of fans.
