The Buffalo Bills need more help at the linebacker position and the Miami Dolphins are a team that could help them out, according to one analyst.

The Buffalo Bills have been identified as a potential trade destination for Miami Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks ahead of the NFL trade deadline, according to an analysis by The Athletic's Daniel Popper. Buffalo Bills On SI writer Mike Moraitis argues that Buffalo should pursue a deal to resolve ongoing struggles and depth concerns at the linebacker position, where Terrel Bernard and Dorian Williams have underperformed.
Popper noted that Brooks, who is under contract through 2029 with guaranteed money in 2027, would require a multiyear commitment rather than serving as a rental. Despite the rivalry between the AFC East franchises, Moraitis suggests the winless Dolphins could be motivated to trade the veteran defender to acquire future draft capital for their rebuild.
